Independent care advice – orientation that lasts
Needing care raises questions that nobody is prepared for. I give you an overview, sort out your options and create a care plan with you that fits your everyday life – independent of the long-term care insurance fund (Pflegekasse), care services and providers.

What care advice means when you work with me
Together we clarify what help is needed, which benefits of the long-term care insurance (Pflegeversicherung) may apply and how care, everyday life and family can be balanced. As a state-examined care professional (examinierte Pflegefachkraft), I also look at the care situation itself: care aids, the home environment, relief for family carers.
What you gain
- An overview of all long-term care insurance benefits and their conditions
- A written care plan – tailored to your everyday life
- Support with applications and with contact to the long-term care insurance fund and care services
- A dedicated contact person who stays reachable after the appointment
A complement to the care advice from your long-term care insurance fund
Anyone who receives or has applied for long-term care insurance benefits is entitled to free care advice under § 7a SGB XI – from the long-term care insurance fund or a care support centre (Pflegestützpunkt). Please make sure you use this entitlement. My advice does not replace it but complements it: with more time, at your home and with no link to a long-term care insurance fund. You can read more in the guide to § 7a.
How it works
After a free initial consultation, we arrange an appointment at your home in Cologne or Bonn – or by phone or video. You describe your situation, I ask the right questions, and together we write down which steps make sense. You receive the result in writing, in plain language.
Independent care advice – orientation that lasts – your questions
No. Care advice under § 7a is a statutory entitlement that you can claim from your long-term care insurance fund. My advice is a private, independent supplement – and I am also happy to help you prepare for and follow up your appointment with the fund.
The initial consultation is free and non-binding. For further advice, I will tell you in advance what it costs. I cannot promise that the long-term care insurance fund will cover the costs.
No. Early advice is especially valuable if you do not have a care level yet – we then prepare the application together.
Yes, absolutely. Relatives are often the mainstay of care. The advice is aimed at them just as much as at the person in need of care.
The first step can be easy.
Tell me what is on your mind right now. In the free initial consultation, we will find out together how I can support you. I offer consultations in German, English and Turkish.
